Revision is a required step of the translation process as described in the ISO 17100:2015 standard on Translation services. A thorough revision of all material translated by us is already included in the price we will quote you.
In addition, we offer the following revision services:
Revision of previously translated material
If you already have a translation of your project but the quality is not up to your standards, or if you simply want to make sure it is, ask our PMs about our revision or post‑editing services.
We will examine your project under the microscope, as always, and make sure it is as good as it can be, or make it so if it isn’t.
EMA QRD template checks
When submitting the product information documentation of a medicinal product for regulatory approval, it is important to make sure it complies with the current European Medicines Agency quality review of documents templates.
It is common for this type of documentation to pass hands countless times over the years, with the result of it often being inconsistent in terms of template wording and/or versions.
We are here to help you with this. We can assess your documentation in any of the 26 languages of the EU and tell you whether or not it needs to be updated to the latest version of the relevant template.
Revision of source texts before translation
Experience has taught us that in some cases an assessment of your source text before it goes out for translation can save you time and money and guarantee an overall better result.
This is the case especially for multilingual projects, in which the complexity of the source can affect the quality of the translation in some languages.
If you run your source text past our expert eyes first, we will make sure there is no risk of multiple interpretations or mistranslations before the actual translation process begins. This will save us time, solving problems before they arise, instead of having to deal with the same queries in 1, 2, or even 24 languages. It will therefore save you money, as we will invoice less time for the completion of the project.
